Brooks hyperbaric chambers reactivation

I have decided to make this page the main page of the site as i think it is best to focus on the Brooks site reactivation as a means to get started offering hyperbarics service in the San Antonio service area. We have not given up on a Boerne clinic, in fact , the chamber shown in this site was made available to our group at a better price than quoted in the past, so it is still “in-play”.

However, it takes a lot of effort to open a new clinic as opposed to  starting a closed one. Thus the concentration on Brooks clinic re-opening. We should have some cost figures early in June to write our business plan with.

The important thing to remember is that more Veterans every day need treatment.

The Patriot clinic in Oklahoma has secured a  multiplace chamber and it is being installed and activated this month. They will be able to treat more patients at one time and cycle the chamber quicker, so more treatments per day with less labor costs.

This is what we want to do with the Brooks chambers which currently have 9 bibs in the large chamber and 6 in the small. The small chamber is close to max  . however the large chamber can hold more patients than bibs installed now, ,so increasing that number and getting the O2 system going is job one at Brooks.

On  May 18th , Stephen Reimers of PCCI , and myself toured Brooks at the invitation of Samantha Carneiro of Brooks. Our concern was the condition of the equipment and we got Stephen’s blessing that he thought it was ok and ready to resume operation.

More to come when some cost figures are determined.
