The clinic is to be constructed of 2 ea. 8′ x 53′ hy cube shipping
containers for strength and safety. A separate 8′ x 20′ container will house
the air compressors on one end and the oxygen generators on the other end
a wall will separate the 2 sides for safety.
The main hyperbaric chamber building will be the 2 containers bolted together
with part of the adjoining wall removed to allow access to the hyperbaric chamber
control panel. The chamber itself will take up ¾ of the container, the balance of the
space to be occupied with a separate room for emergency air bottles as well as emergency
oxygen and breathing gas bottles.
The second container will house the control panel in the front and changing area and lockers and small office in the rear.
The entire facility will be built and maintained to NFPA codes as required by FDA regulations for Class II drug dispensing devices (oxygen is a FDA regulated drug requiring a prescription). We plan to partner with the Boerne Fire/EMS for training and emergency use and our facilities will meet all local fire/safety codes
The classroom/office/waiting/clinic building is a standard portable classroom building as used by many local school districts. the construction is a wooden frame, floor and roof joists and covered with metal siding both roof and sides. The are well built since they are used for school classrooms and are easily moved in by a house moving company (Dodson house moving co.) They are finished out and have lighting/power/air conditioning and heating already installed. Many have the blackboards and shelves installed.
